I. ORIENTATION FOR INVESTMENT ATTRACTION INTO QUANG NINH PROVINCE

Over the years, being consistent with the point of view for “sustainable development,
green growth” with the highest goal of bringing “peace, prosperity and happiness” to the
citizens, Quang Ninh province has been persistently innovating with strong growth model,
restructuring the economy, transforming the development mode from "brown" to "green"
based on three pillars: "nature - people - culture", combined with the “trend of peace, coop-
eration, integration” and opportunities of the 04th Industrial Revolution. Quang Ninh is also
the first province to cooperate with many of the world's leading consulting firms to develop
strategic plans to attract investment and develop society. Quang Ninh province coordinat-
ed with McKinsey Company (USA) to develop and complete the provincial planning by
inheriting 07 important strategic plans of the province. Accordingly, businesses and inves-
tors will find potential investment opportunities to propose for implementation of motiva-
tional projects in the province.
Quang Ninh province prioritizes attracting investment, creating the most favorable con-
ditions for businesses and investors who are interested in and invest in projects with
advanced and clean technology, modern management with high added value, creating
pervasive effect, connecting global production and supply chains; especially projects in
industries and fields in which the province has outstanding competitive advantages and
distinct potentials such as: processing and manufacturing industry; electronic – telecom-
munications industry, digital, automobile; biological industry, pharmaceutical industry,
clean energy industry such as renewable energy, wind power, environmental industry;
supporting industries; seaports and seaport services, logistics, high-tech agriculture... in
areas with favorable conditions and attractive incentive mechanisms for investors, espe-
cially in economic zones, industrial zone of the province.
