Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tuong Huy received a courtesy visit from TCL Group

On March 6, comrade Cao Tuong Huy, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a courtesy meeting with Mr. Vuong Thanh, General Director of TCL Group (Hong Kong, China) and member units on a trip. Visit and work in Quang Ninh.

Comrade Cao Tuong Huy, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee discussed with Mr. Vuong Thanh, General Director of Operations of TCL Group about mechanisms and policies to attract FDI investment in the province.

At the meeting, Mr. Vuong Thanh, General Director of Operations of TCL Group introduced the achievements in production development of the Group in Vietnam in general and Quang Ninh province in particular. For the 3 projects that TCL Group implemented in Dong Mai Industrial Park, Quang Yen, specializing in electronic components and electronic products, all production and investment have achieved positive results.

Sharing about investment plans in Vietnam in the next 3 - 5 years, Mr. Vuong Thanh, General Director of TCL Group affirmed that with outstanding potentials, open policies, and the Support, enthusiastic companionship, and responsibility of the province, Quang Ninh is always one of the Group's top choices when researching investment in Vietnam. In particular, the focus is on investment in semiconductor screen industry, large screen terminal equipment, environmental protection technology, and lighting technology.

At the reception, comrade Cao Tuong Huy, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, congratulated the results that TCL Group has achieved in production and business in Vietnam in general and Quang Ninh in particular. He affirmed that TLC's investment in Quang Ninh has also made an important contribution to the province's socio-economic development.

Informing TCL Group about traffic infrastructure conditions, technical infrastructure, policy mechanisms in attracting investment, and orientation for developing Quang Ninh's industrial sector in the coming time, Acting Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Cao Tuong Huy emphasized that Quang Ninh is focusing on developing green industry, rapidly increasing the contribution proportion of high-tech, high-value added processing and manufacturing industries. Therefore, Quang Ninh province is very welcoming and creates the most favorable conditions for TCL Group to continue researching investment in Quang Ninh in the coming time.
