ADDING QUANG YEN ECONOMIC ZONE TO THE PLANNING FOR DEVELOPMENT OF COASTAL ECONOMIC ZONES
The Prime Minister has approved the addition of Quang Yen coastal economic zone (Quang Ninh province) to the development plan of coastal economic zones to 2020 with a scale of 13,303 ha.
The Prime Minister assigned Quang Ninh province to take responsibility for the accuracy of the data, contents of the report, and explanations; area size and location proposed for adjustment and supplementation of the planning for development of economic zones; ensure that the planning adjustment and supplementation is consistent with relevant planning and regulations of law on investment, land, forestry, minerals, environment, water resources and relevant laws; do not let disputes occur in the process of organizing and implementing the plan.
In addition, the province needs to receive opinions of relevant ministries and agencies in the process of implementing the planning of economic zones; the establishment of Quang Yen economic zone must comply with the current law provisions; ensuring the development of economic zones without affecting the environment, national defense and security, preserving forest areas, historical and cultural relics, and not negatively affecting people's lives.
At the same time, the province needs to implement appropriate investment phases, select sectors and investors to attract reasonable investment for functional areas in the economic zone, on the principle of taking advantage of and promoting their advantages, ensure the mutual assistance of each zone; to synchronously develop infrastructure inside and outside the economic zone to ensure the linkage between Quang Yen economic zone and other economic development regions in order to form a driving economic zone for Quang Ninh and economic zone. the North key.
