Approval of construction zoning plan at the scale of 1/2000 in the area of The Vang island, Van Don economic zone, Quang Ninh province
On November 9, 2021, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province issued Decision No. 3942/QD-UBND approving the task of planning construction zoning at the scale of 1/2000 in the area of The Vang island, Van Don economic zone, Van Don economic zone, Quang Ninh province.
The Vang Island in Thang Loi Commune, Van Don District has a planning study area of about 1,345 hectares (the area of The Vang Island and Hai Nga Island is about 1,090 hectares; wetland and water surface area are about 255 hectares). The population size is about 1,500 - 2,500 people, including service workers and tourists.
Research for planning at The Vang Island includes 4 functional areas such as: High-class resort combined with spiritual tourism, which is adjacent to 3 sea sides next to Phuc Duyen pagoda and Tam Son temple relic cluster...; The eco-tourism area with sloping terrain with beautiful scenery will be planned to develop an experience tourist area, a homestay, with a construction density of 15% to 20%; The aquaculture and hi-tech agriculture zone is located in the middle of the island, bordering the sea, the forest park area and the coastal water surface; Natural forest conservation area, forestry planting area are the entire remaining land on the island, and mainly the southern part of the top of the island is planned for tourism development, new planting and protection of the natural landscape.
