Binh Lieu: Investing in infrastructure to promote socio-economic development
Determining infrastructure investment as a solid premise for the local socio-economic development, Binh Lieu district has been implementing synchronously solutions to unlock these investment resources. In the past 5 years, a series of traffic and irrigation projects in the district have been completed and put into use, contributing to a change in the appearance of the mountainous district.
The Binh Lieu - Huc Dong route is spacious and widely invested, creating favorable conditions for Binh Lieu district to develop socio-economically.
The 9.6km-long Binh Lieu - Huc Dong route connecting Binh Lieu town to Huc Dong commune has been completed and put into use from the end of 2020. This is an important traffic work of Binh Lieu district, making it convenient for people to travel, which is an important premise to orient the development of the district's tourism industry. Since the completion of this route, people's lives have been significantly improved, economic development is more favorable.

The roads here are mainly narrow dirt roads with many dangerous turns. People always expect to have a new route for convenient travel. Since the road was completed until now, it has completely changed people's lives. Travel is convenient, trade and business develop. The purchase price of agricultural products of farmers is also increased because cars can go to the place of purchase, helping people's income to be more stable.
It is known that in the period 2016-2020, many works and projects in Binh Lieu district have been invested and are being put into use, bringing into full play their effectiveness. For instance: Bridge over the Hoanh Mo Border Gate (Vietnam) - Dong Trung (China) and leveling the infrastructure of Hoanh Mo Border Gate Economic Zone; renovating sidewalks and drainage ditches on both sides of National Highway 18C in the area of Hoanh Mo Border Gate, the section from Km48+200 to Km48+400m; upgrading and renovating the road from the district health center to the national highway 18C; district sports complex; renovating and upgrading the intersection of the inner town road intersecting with Na Cap bridge and the road from Dong Van Medical Station to Dong Van Commune People's Committee;...
Not only roads, many irrigation works, clean water works, etc. in the district have also been invested in new construction and put into use, creating favorable conditions for people to develop production. For example, the A Quan canal project, in Ngan Pat village, Luc Hon commune, was invested and completed by the district by the end of 2020 with a length of nearly 1km, contributing to ensuring water supply for irrigation and living for people. Or like the Song Mooc B- Keo Lan route, Dong Van commune is nearly 1.7km long, including roads, drainage ditches, irrigation ditches and sewers, which have been completed and put into use from the end of 2020. has helped the travel, production of people in the area and ensure traffic safety for people in the rainy season...
