Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee listens to the idea of investing in industrial parks in Quang Yen

On the morning of September 29, Mr. Nguyen Tuong Van, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and leaders of a number of related departments, agencies, sectors and localities listened to Amata Group and its partners report on investment and development ideas for industrial park (IZ) projects within the high-tech industrial urban complex in Quang Yen coastal economic zone (EZ).

At the meeting, Amata Group cooperated with Marubeni Corporation (Japan) and GS Group (Korea) to report on investment and development ideas for 2 industrial park projects within the high-tech industrial urban complex of Quang Yen coastal economic zone. Accordingly, the industrial zone proposed by Marubeni Group covers an area of 724ha; The industrial zone proposed by GS Group covers an area of 676ha.

The viewpoints and principles of developing these 2 industrial zones towards environmental friendliness, digital, health and services, attracting investment in high-tech and environmentally friendly industries. In these 2 IPs, there are a full range of medical services, health care, education and training to serve workers in the IZ and people in the surrounding area, creating an attractiveness for secondary investors.

The working session

Mr. Nguyen Tuong Van, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized: With Amata Group, these are two large and promising corporations in investment and development of industrial zones in Vietnam. He was pleased that investors were interested and trusted in choosing Quang Ninh as an investment destination. Currently, Quang Yen coastal economic zone is reviewing the general construction planning, thereby reviewing the appropriate land fund to attract investment.

Quang Yen coastal economic zone currently has many industrial zones, but the occupancy rate is still very low, not meeting the province's expectations. Meanwhile, Quang Ninh has adequate traffic and technical infrastructure to meet the development of industrial zones; at the same time, always being dedicated, thoughtful, handling investment procedures for investors.

He hoped that Amata Group would support the two groups to quickly approach to conduct research on the basis of a suitable land fund, Marubeni Group and GS Group will conduct research on investment projects in Song Khoai Industrial Park of Amata Group because currently, the land fund in this industrial park is still available.

He assigned the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board to act as the focal point, coordinate with investors to implement the next work, report to the competent authorities for consideration in accordance with regulations.
