CHINA AGREES TO RESTORE CUSTOMS ASSOCIATE AT ONE STATE

On January 7, the Asia-Africa Market Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade) said that Guangxi and China announced the restoration of customs clearance at Binh Mang border gate (Vietnam is Soc Giang border gate, Cao Bang province). ) from 10 am on 7/1.

This decision was made one day after the first meeting of the Vietnam-China trade facilitation working group between the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Commerce of China. Thus, the pair of Soc Giang - Binh Mang border gates is the next pair of border gates to be cleared after Tra Linh - Long Bang border gates.

Previously, on December 29, 2021, the Minister of Industry and Trade sent a letter to the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to discuss the clearance situation and measures to relieve congestion at the border gate.

In the letter, the Minister suggested that China implement the common perception of the two countries' senior leaders on expanding trade and maintaining the supply chain, and suggested that Guangxi and the border localities of Vietnam jointly exchange information. to quickly relieve the congestion of goods at the two sides of the border gate.

The Guangxi Department of Commerce said that it had joined the Customs and epidemic prevention forces of Guangxi to conduct an actual survey of the epidemic prevention and control situation at border gates with Vietnam.

"Based on the development and actual situation of epidemic prevention at each border gate, Guangxi officially restored customs clearance at Long Bang and Binh Mang border gates (the Vietnamese side is Tra Linh and Soc Giang border gates, Cao Bang province). ) Other border gates will be gradually restored based on the assessment of the epidemic situation and disease prevention work," the Asia-Africa Market Department informed.

According to the statistics of the Department of Industry and Trade of Lang Son province, the total number of vehicles in three road border gate areas: Huu Nghi, Tan Thanh and Chi Ma as of the morning of January 6 was 2,149 vehicles, a decrease of 150 vehicles compared to January 5.
