China Airlines set to fly from Taipei to Da Nang
China Airlines has announced plans to launch a direct service between Taiwan's Taipei and Da Nang on January 2 next year.
There would be five weekly flights on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and fares would start at TWD8,468 (US$268), it said in a release.
The launch would meet demand in Taiwan for travel to Vietnam following the easing of Covid entry restrictions, it added.
The airline also plans to restart its Taichung-Ho Chi Minh City route on November 18 with four weekly flights.
Taiwan is set to end its mandatory Covid quarantine for foreign arrivals on October 13 while Vietnam did so in March.
