The project of developing the market economy and cooperatives for the period of 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030, is built on the basis of inheriting and integrating a number of contents on assessing the current socio-economic situation, and developing orientations for development. develop according to the key sectors and fields of the province. The main objective and solution of the project is to improve the quality of cooperative activities, especially in the field of agriculture, chain production, increase exports associated with key products with potential and advantages of the province. . Create favorable conditions for cooperatives in the agricultural sector to well perform the accumulation of land, consolidation, and change of plots to expand their scale and specialize in production. At the same time, building and developing branded products of the province, replicating the effective new model of cooperatives, linking with businesses.

Currently, there are 633 cooperatives in the province, of which, from the beginning of 2022 until now, the whole province has established 25 new cooperatives. The collective economy is creating many jobs, especially in rural, mountainous and island areas, thereby significantly contributing to poverty reduction.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Pham Van Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, asked the units to develop the Project on Development of Information Economy and Cooperatives for the period of 2021-2025, with orientation to 2030, to absorb the opinions at the meeting. recommend; continue to study, supplement and complete the project in accordance with the strategic plannings of the central government and the province. The scheme must clearly state the point of view of the development of the market economy, with the core being that the cooperative develops quickly and sustainably on the basis of maximizing the potential and advantages of the region and sub-region.

For the task of the last 6 months of 2022 of the Steering Committee for Economic Innovation and Development, Provincial Cooperatives, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant units to focus on in-depth analysis of the quality and operational efficiency of the cooperatives. The Department of Planning and Investment strengthens coordination with the Provincial Cooperative Union to advise the Steering Committee to speed up the review of shortcomings and difficulties to ensure the goal of establishing at least 30 cooperatives as planned. .
