Cooperation to organize the Japanese Investment Promotion Online Conference specialized in processing, manufacturing and logistics industries in 2021

On July 1, the Standing Committee of Japan Business Support Department (under Japan Desk Quang Ninh) held an online meeting with JETRO Hanoi on the organization of an online conference on Investment promotion of Japanese enterprises in the field of processing, manufacturing and logistics industries in Quang Ninh in 2021.

Attendees of the meeting were representatives of JETRO Hanoi Mr. Nakajima Takeo, Chief Representative and Ms. Kurosu Mihoko, Deputy Head of Representative and leader of External Relations Department; On the side of IPA Quang Ninh, there were Ms. Vu Thi Kim Chi, Standing Deputy Head of IPA Standing Committee, Standing Deputy Head of Japan Desk Quang Ninh.

At the meeting, Ms. Vu Thi Kim Chi, Standing Deputy Head of IPA, Standing Deputy Head of Japan Desk Quang Ninh thanked Mr. Nakajima Takeo as well as JETRO Hanoi for always paying attention and accompanying Quang Ninh province in investment promotion from Japanese organizations, businesses and partners over the past time. Meanwhile, congratulate Ms. Kurosu Mihoko who has just been appointed to the position of Deputy Chief Representative of JETRO Hanoi.

The IPA representative updated JETRO Hanoi on the achievements of Quang Ninh province in socio-economic development, administrative reform, improvement of the business investment environment and investment attraction in the first 6 months of the year. At the same time, he expressed his wish that JETRO Hanoi and Quang Ninh province co-organize the “Japanese investment promotion online conference specialized in processing, manufacturing and logistics industries in Quang Ninh province”, which is expected to be held in Quang Ninh province in August 2021.

Through an online meeting, the two sides agreed to hold an online conference on Japanese investment promotion specialized in processing, manufacturing and logistics industries in 2021 in Quang Ninh province, expected in August.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nakajima Takeo, Chief Representative of JETRO Hanoi shared about the Japanese partners that Quang Ninh province needs to aim for, and solutions that Quang Ninh province needs to implement in promoting the investment of Japanese enterprises (document preparation, approaches, supporting agencies...). JETRO Hanoi also agreed to co-organize the Conference with Quang Ninh province, details will be proposed by the province.

Also at the meeting, the two sides agreed on the coordination work in the coming time, and at the same time set out specific tasks towards the successful organization of investment promotion activities from Japan, especially advising on the organization of "Japanese investment promotion online conference specialized in processing, manufacturing and logistics industries in 2021 in Quang Ninh province".
