CORRECTION OF IMPACTS IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF VAN DON – MONG CAI EXPRESSWAY

In the past time, many petitions of voters in Tien Yen district have been listened to by the authorities at all levels, focusing on effective settlement. However, there are still some recommendations of voters in Dong Ngu and Dong Hai communes related to the construction of the Tien Yen - Mong Cai expressway that need to be resolved in the near future.

San Xe Dong village, Dong Ngu commune has about 30ha of rice being harvested. The rest are about to plant the spring crop, but up to this point, people have not been able to work the land, because the construction process of Tien Yen - Mong Cai highway has caused a part of soil and rock to overflow into the field. Therefore, people cannot fix themselves to cultivate the 2021 crop. And if there is no solution, the risk that people will not have arable land is what will happen.

During the construction process of Tien Yen - Mong Cai expressway, a part of soil and rock overflowed into the field in San Xe Dong village, Dong Ngu commune, Tien Yen district.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoi (San Xe Dong village) said: There were some problems during the construction of the expressway. Firstly, when constructing bridges and culverts, the unit had to fill up the water source, thus causing stagnation and flooding of some people's production land. Second, through land clearance to exploit land, there is a phenomenon of rock and soil drifting down some households on both sides of the highway. Although the construction unit has overcome the damage to people, but not in time. Therefore, we very much hope that the local government, the construction unit will soon take measures to solve it, so that the people can produce in a timely manner.

The Van Don - Mong Cai expressway project is located in the Hanoi - Quang Ninh expressway system, which is identified as a route of strategic significance in the socio-economic development of the province and the region. The project has a total length of nearly 80km, passing through the localities: Van Don, Tien Yen, Dam Ha, Hai Ha and Mong Cai. In which, the section through Tien Yen district is 12.84km long, passing through 3 communes: Tien Lang, Dong Ngu, and Dong Hai. The total area of ​​land acquired is 780,670m2, involving more than 300 households and 6 units and organizations.

Construction of temporary bridges in Ha Trang Dong and Ha Trang Tay villages (Dong Hai commune) to deal with flood drainage to ensure safety for aquaculture households around the area.

According to the construction design of the expressway, the section through Ha Trang Dong and Ha Trang Tay villages, a bridge will be built over the stream. However, up to now, the bridge construction cannot be completed in June 2021 due to technical factors, while this is the rainy season, if there is no effective solution, when it rains, Floods from upstream will fill up the flow, cause flooding, affect aquaculture households around the construction area. Talking to reporters, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hai, Executive Director of Package B3, Tien Yen - Mong Cai Expressway Project, said: Currently, we are speeding up the construction of the temporary bridge. flood drainage, ensuring the safety of aquaculture households when the rainy and stormy season is coming.

The above-mentioned voters' recommendations are the practical aspirations of the local people. It is hoped that the local government, as well as the construction contractor, will quickly absorb the recommendations and remove difficulties in production and daily life of the people, thereby contributing to ensuring social security in the district.
