The Covid-19 epidemic has negatively affected production and business activities of enterprises. To support businesses, Quang Ninh Tax Department quickly propagated, reviewed and guided the implementation of Decree 52/2021/ND-CP dated April 19, 2021 (referred to as Decree 52) of the Government. extending the deadline for paying value added tax (VAT), corporate income tax (CIT), personal income tax (PIT) and land rent in 2021.
Up to now, the province has 1,371 businesses that have been accepted by the tax agency to request an extension with the extended tax and land rent amounting to VND 906.4 billion. These are considered interest-free loans, helping businesses reduce financial pressure, reduce difficulties to restore production and overcome the pandemic.
Mr. Tran Quang Hung, General Director of Cam Pha Cement Joint Stock Company, said: Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, the construction market was quiet, the company's sales revenue decreased, incurring many epidemic prevention and control costs. . Facing that difficulty, the Company was promptly grasped, guided by the Quang Ninh Tax Department, and extended the 5-month VAT, 3-month CIT, and 6-month land rental for a total of about 60 billion VND. Thereby, helping businesses reduce pressure on cash flow, reduce financial costs, and create favorable conditions for production and business activities.
In addition, the Provincial Tax Department has also approved support for 541 business households affected by the Covid-19 epidemic with an amount of over VND 1.6 billion according to Resolution 68/NQ-CP dated July 1, 2021 of the Government. Goverment.
