EFFECTIVELY IMPROVING BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT, ENHANCED COMPETITIVENESS

 The Provincial People's Committee signed a cooperation agreement with the Vietnam Federation of Trade and Industry (VCCI) to improve the business investment environment, enhance competitiveness and support businesses in the period 2022-2025.

Notably, PAR, modernizing public administration, applying IT, building e-government, providing online public services... has achieved important results. Discipline and discipline in state administrative agencies are increasingly strengthened; the responsibility of the head is enhanced; The spirit and working attitude of officials, civil servants and public employees have been improved in the direction of serving people and businesses. The quality of the province's business investment environment has been positively improved, which is evident from the assessment results of the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) when Quang Ninh maintains 8 consecutive years in the top 5 provinces. , the city has the best quality of economic management in the PCI ranking and for 4 consecutive years from 2017 to 2020 maintains the top position in this ranking.

On the basis of the achieved results, embarked on the implementation of the Government's Resolution No. 02/NQ-CP dated January 10, 2022 on the main tasks and solutions to improve the business environment, enhance productivity and improve business performance. With the national competitiveness in 2022, Quang Ninh has great advantages when the business environment targets and tasks of the province have been maintained and achieved and exceeded the level set out in the resolution. However, during the past years, the complicated development of the Covid-19 pandemic made business activities of enterprises facing many challenges, competitiveness was somewhat weakened, business expectations were higher and higher. The competition between provinces and cities in the country is becoming more and more fierce, so it is necessary for the strong, drastic and accelerated participation of departments, divisions, branches and localities.

In order to successfully implement the goals set out in Resolution 02/NQ-CP, the Provincial People's Committee quickly issued Plan No. 19/KH-UBND dated January 19, 2022, setting out objectives, tasks and solutions. legislation and assign specific responsibilities in implementing this important content.
