GOVERNMENT RESULT TO THE NATIONAL PLAN INVESTMENT PLAN THE NORTH SOUTH EXPRESS PERIOD 2021 - 2025
The government has just issued a report No. 536/TTr - CP, requesting the National Assembly to consider and decide on a pre-feasibility study report for the East North-South Expressway construction project in the 2021-2025 period.
This is the updated investment plan, absorbing the comments and conclusions of the National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue at the meeting with the Standing Committee of the National Assembly's Economic Committee on the expressway construction project. North - South East in the period of 2021 - 2025.
According to the latest proposal of the Government, the East North-South Expressway Construction Project in the 2021-2025 period has the construction site from Ha Tinh (Bai Vot) to Quang Tri (Cam Lo). from Quang Ngai to Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa), from Can Tho to Ca Mau. In the period 2021 - 2025, the project will invest about 729 km, divided into 12 component projects operating independently and deployed in the form of public investment. The order, procedures and competence to appraise and decide on investment are based on the scale of each component project in accordance with the law on public investment.
Preliminally, the total investment of the project is VND 146,990 billion, including about VND 119,666 billion in the period 2021 - 2025, of which: VND 47,169 billion belongs to the medium-term public investment plan from the state budget in the period for the 2021 - 2025 period according to Resolution No. 29/2021/QH15 dated July 28, 2021 of the National Assembly, the remaining balance is VND 72,497 billion from the program of economic and social recovery and development; forward arrangement for the period 2026 - 2030 is about 27,324 billion VND.
