The resolution states that in 2020, along with efforts to prevent and control the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government and the Prime Minister have directed ministries, branches and localities to focus on implementing solutions to support businesses. businesses to overcome the negative multi-faceted impacts of the epidemic, create a favorable business and investment environment, remove difficulties for production and business, and promote socio-economic recovery and development.

The year 2021 is of great significance to Vietnam's socio-economic development in the new situation, as the year of accelerating economic recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic.

2021 is also the first year of implementing the Socio-Economic Development Strategy for the 2021-2030 period and the Socio-Economic Development Plan for the 2021-2025 period.

The successful implementation of the goals and tasks in 2021 will create a strong foundation and encouragement for the following years.

In order to continue to create more drastic changes in the business environment and improve competitiveness, the Government issued a Resolution on continuing to improve the business environment and enhance national competitiveness.
