In early 2022, the Tourism Advisory Board (TAB) announced the results of a study on the tourism competitiveness index, piloted in 15 provinces and cities in Vietnam. Quang Ninh is in 2nd place/15 with a total score of 4.68. This is a remarkable result in the context of the tourism industry facing many great difficulties due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic in the past 2 years. In order to continue to promote its competitive advantage, especially during the peak season, Quang Ninh's tourism industry has come up with a "long-term" development strategy, aiming to build a 4-season destination.
