MANY BUSINESSES WANT TO EXPAND OPERATION IN VIETNAM
President of the Japan Trade Promotion Organization (JETRO) said that more and more Japanese businesses want to expand their investment activities in Vietnam.
JETRO's report shows that the indexes related to the activities of Japanese enterprises in Vietnam have strongly improved compared to the previous time.
According to the Investigative Report on the activities of Japanese enterprises abroad in the fiscal year announced by the President of JETRO, Vietnam, along with the US and Western Europe, are emerging as the three most important export markets for Japan. According to this report, 7.6% of Japanese enterprises choose Vietnam as the most important export destination. JETRO said that the number of Japanese enterprises wishing to expand operations in Vietnam has increased for the second consecutive year, from 32.4% to 34.1%. With this result, Vietnam is ranked in the group of three investment destinations with the most Japanese enterprises wishing to expand their operations. Besides, Vietnam is also an investment destination where Japanese enterprises tend to strengthen basic functions for sales and production activities.
