Quang Ninh has an important strategic position, one of 7 provinces/cities in the Northern key economic region, located in a favorable location with land, sea and air borders with China - one of the world's largest commodity consumption markets, and the "gateway" of export goods from Vietnam and Asean countries to China and the world.
To promote cross-border e-commerce activities, Quang Ninh province has actively promoted conferences, seminars, training programs and propaganda on mechanisms and policies to develop border economy, tourism, and agriculture. industry, helping businesses in the province master regulations for each specific commodity field; Promote e-commerce development associated with comprehensive digital transformation activities; Provide information and guidance related to import and export of goods to partners that have signed e-commerce agreements (FTAs) with Vietnam, such as: ASEAN Free Trade Agreement (AFTA), Framework Agreement on ASEAN - China economic cooperation, ASEAN - China Trade in Goods Agreement to establish the ASEAN - China free trade area; agreements CPTPP, EVFTA, UKVFTA... Thereby, helping businesses in the province gradually catch up with the trend of using e-commerce platforms to reach domestic and international customers, expand export markets .
