OCOP Winter Fair kick-started on December 1
The One Commune One Product (OCOP) fair - Winter 2022 was launched in the evening of December 1 at the Culture and Communication Center in Mong Cai city, according to the provincial OCOP Steering Board.
The fair attracts lots of locals and tourists.
The fair includes 170 standard kiosks which are displaying and selling over 1,050 OCOP products and products groups from 34 provinces and cities across the country. It is scheduled to last until December 5.
Quang Ninh OCOP Fair - Winter 2022 is an annual event enlisted in the Quang Ninh OCOP Program, significantly contributing to the promotion of OCOP Quang Ninh products, serving the consumption needs of people and tourists, and creating a premise for the development of services.
Delegates visit some stalls in the fair.
This fair is expected be a bridge connecting businesses and cooperatives to their target markets, partners and potential customers in the new normal situation.
As part of the event, an exhibition is also taking place in this area to introduce Quang Ninh’s typical OCOP products, Mong Cai city’s socio-economic development planning, potentials and strengths in various field, contributing to the promotion of commercial activities between Quang Ninh bussinesses and Chinese ones and other localities throughout the country.
The opening ceremony was held in the evening of December 1.
Having been launched since October, 2013, the “Quang Ninh province - One commune, one specific product” program aims to develop and promote traditional products which has a competitive advantage, contributing to restructuring the economy in urban Quang Ninh and satisfying the criteria on “economy and organizational form of production", one of national criteria for building a new countryside.
