PROMOTING ECONOMIC COOPERATION BETWEEN NIIGATA PROVINCE
On August 10, Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Vu Hong Nam worked in Niigata province to promote economic cooperation between this province and Vietnamese localities.
At a meeting with Mr. Hideyo Hanazumi, Governor of Niigata province, Ambassador Vu Hong Nam expressed his hope that the COVID-19 epidemic would soon be controlled so that businesses of the two sides could promote stronger cooperation activities. business. For his part, Governor Hanazumi pledged to create the best conditions to improve the investment efficiency of these provincial enterprises in Vietnam.
On the same day, Ambassador Vu Hong Nam attended a seminar with the Sanjo city government in Niigata province and a number of local businesses investing and doing business in Vietnam. The Ambassador expressed his hope that the city government will continue to pay attention to and support businesses in cooperating with Vietnamese partners, especially in overcoming difficulties of the epidemic period.
