Quang Ninh committing to create favorable conditions for investors
During the Thai Ambassador’s trip to Quang Ninh, PPC Chairman Nguyen Tuong Van on Sept.15 met with the delegation and introduced favorable investment policies with a view to promoting Thai investment in Quang Ninh.
At the meeting
Warmly welcoming the ambassador and his delegation to Quang Ninh, the Chairman emphasized that Quang Ninh in particular and Vietnam in general have an extensive and comprehensive relationship with Thailand in many fields and Thailand is identified as Vietnam’s long-term and sustainable strategic partner.
He introduced some fields of Quang Ninh’s interest such as seaports, logistics, marine economy, manufacturing, electronics and telecommunications industry, environmental industry, ICT, digital, automobile and tourism, services, smart agriculture, etc...
The Ambassador visited the Centre for Sponsoring and Caring for Children with Special Circumstances in Ha Long city.
The chairman asked the ambassador to timely exchange information so that Quang Ninh province could attend conferences, seminars, and events related to Thailand's investment promotion and attraction as well as promote Quang Ninh’s images, potentials, and strengths to Thai businesses and investors who want to explore investment opportunities in Quang Ninh.
Previously, the Ambassador visited the Centre for Sponsoring and Caring for Children with Special Circumstances in Quang Ninh Province and presented gifts to those children.
The delegation presented educational equipment to Hung Thang Elementary & Secondary School.
In the afternoon, the delegation visited Hung Thang Elementary & Secondary High School (Ha Long City) and presented educational equipment for the school library, computer room and visual education garden. These gifts were sent by Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn through the project "Cooperation on youth and child development".
