Representatives of Quang Ninh departments and branches met with Korean commercial counselors and businesses to learn about investment in industrial zones and economic zones.

Currently, Korea is the largest investor in Vietnam with 9,223 valid projects, with a total accumulated capital of 74.7 billion USD by December 2021; is the second largest ODA, tourism and labor partner and the third largest trading partner with bilateral trade turnover reaching 78 billion USD in 2021.

Import-export turnover to the Korean market of enterprises in Quang Ninh province in 2020 will reach 58 million USD (of which export will reach 19 million USD, import will reach 39 million USD); in 2021 will reach 111.9 million USD (of which exports will reach 19.8 million USD, import will reach 92.1 million USD).
