QUANG NINH TO HOST 27 CULTURE AND TOURISM EVENTS DURING HOLIDAY FOR LIBERATION Day 30/4 AND LABOUR DAY 1/5

The information was revealed by Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairwoman, Nguyen Thi Hanh, at a press meeting on April 22.

A series of cultural, art and culinary events are going to be organized in Quang ninh province to boost local tourism on the occasion of National Reunification Day (April 30) and International Workers' Day (May 1).

The highlight of these events will be a street parade, Ha Long Carnival, under the theme “Coastal Dance Festival” in Ha Long city on April 30 and May 1. The festival comprises art shows and street parades held in three locations, including Tuan Chau tourism area on the afternoon of April 30, Hon Gai beach, and FLC Ha Long Bay Golf Club & Luxury Resort on the afternoon of May 1.

Also in Ha Long city, locals and tourists should not miss the chance to join amusing activities namely the opening of Hon Gai artificial beach, a flower festival, the inauguration of the bronze statue called "Prosperous Cow”, the inauguration of Tuan Chau golf course, the opening of Tuan Chau Sculpture Park, a music show entitled “Tuan Chau welcomes summer”, etc.

Firework displays will be conducted in the five locations including the Tuan Chau tourism complex, Square 30-10, FLC eco-tourism complex in Ha Long, Cam Pha city and Dong Trieu district.

There will be various events in other localities in the province such as the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Co To Island, the festival of ethnic culture and sports in Binh Lieu mountainous district, art performances welcoming summer in Van Don district and Uong Bi city, etc.
