With the drastic direction of vaccination against Covid-19 for people, Quang Ninh is one of the localities with a high rate of people vaccinated against Covid-19 compared to the whole country; creating a "shield" to prevent the epidemic, ensuring the health and life of the people.

Along with that, the province also maintains the work of improving and improving the quality of medical examination and treatment for people in the area; strengthen the management and surveillance of some new infectious diseases such as monkeypox, acute hepatitis. At the same time, the province has put the Geriatrics - Rehabilitation Hospital into operation at its new, more modern and spacious headquarters. This is the first provincial hospital specializing in geriatrics and rehabilitation in the country.

The work of taking care of and stabilizing people's lives after the pandemic has been carefully implemented by the province. In particular, the province has directed to strictly implement the payment of support, remove difficulties for units and businesses, support people affected by the Covid-19 epidemic; complete housing rental support for employees according to the Prime Minister's Decision No. 08/2022/QD-TTg; promulgate a policy to support tuition fees for preschool children, high school students, continuing education students studying at educational institutions in the province in the two school years 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 with 100% Public tuition fees… Following the direction of the province, the localities have concretized Resolution 06-NQ/TU (May 17, 2021) of the Provincial Party Committee, thereby creating a clear change. features in socio-economic development, reducing the gap between regions in the province.

Especially, from October 25-27, the 17th East Asia Inter-Regional Tourism Forum (EATOF) General Assembly was held in Ho Chi Minh City in association with the 20th Anniversary of EATOF's establishment. This is an important event to promote the recovery and cooperation for sustainable development of tourism in Quang Ninh, Vietnam and EATOF members in the context of the new normal after the epidemic. Thereby affirming the position of Quang Ninh tourism with influence in the region and in the world. This is an opportunity for Quang Ninh tourism to attract resources, create opportunities to promote intensive tourism investment, and strongly promote linkages between EATOF member provinces and countries around the world... Total tourists to Quang Ninh in 10 months of 2022 are estimated at 9.7 million arrivals, 3.55 times higher than the same period in 2021, of which international visitors reach 177 thousand arrivals. Total tourism revenue reached 20,864 billion VND, 4 times higher than the same period last year.

In addition, the province continues to promote administrative reform, support businesses and attract investment in the area. From the beginning of the year until now, the total investment attraction in the area has reached VND 40,896 billion, equaling 33.5% of the same period in 2021 (except for the Green Ha Long project). In which, new issuance and adjustment of investment certificates for 3 domestic projects, total capital is 1,008 billion VND; 13 FDI projects, total capital is 186.2 million USD; approved and adjusted investment policies for 36 domestic projects with a total capital of VND 35,603 billion.

Although in the context of general difficulties, with the determination to recover quickly and sustainably promote the economy, motivational works and projects continue to be strongly directed by the province to speed up progress. Many projects have been completed and put into use, meeting the expectations of officials, party members and people of the province, such as: Love Bridge, Ha Long - Cam Pha beach, Van Don - Mong Cai highway...

Practically celebrating 59 years of establishment of the province, Quang Ninh is rushing to implement important works and projects. At this point, the province will inaugurate the project of Ao Tien high-class port and the central trunk road of Cai Rong urban area, Van Don district (phase 2); Commencement of projects: Investment in construction, upgrading and expansion of Quang Ninh Lung Hospital (Ha Long City); The social housing area in Dong Mai ward (Quang Yen town) and the social housing area in the residential area of ​​Bank hill (Ha Long city).
