The Ministry of Planning and Investment has issued Circular No. 12/2021/TT-BKHDT stipulating the logistics statistical indicator system.

According to the Circular, the Logistics Statistical Indicator System is a collection of statistical indicators reflecting the characteristics of logistics activities, logistics costs in the national economy and logistics services performed in the territory of Vietnam. .

Logistics service is a commercial activity whereby a trader organizes to perform one or more jobs including receiving goods, transporting, storing, storing, customs clearance and other paperwork. Customer consultation, packaging, marking, delivery or other services related to goods as agreed with the customer for remuneration.

The logistics statistical indicator system includes a list of 63 logistics statistical indicators specified in Appendix I issued with the Circular, including: 13 infrastructure logistics statistical indicators; 6 statistical indicators of means of transport logistics; 6 logistics statistics for human resource training; 7 statistical indicators of enterprise logistics, labor; 13 statistical indicators of trade and service logistics; 3 statistical indicators of logistics application of information technology in administrative procedures; 5 statistical indicators of logistics time, logistics costs; 10 statistical indicators of logistics capacity and quality of logistics services. The content of logistics statistical indicators is specified in Appendix II issued with this Circular.

The Ministry of Planning and Investment (GSO) shall assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with relevant agencies in, collecting and synthesizing statistical information for the assigned logistic statistical indicators, ensuring the provision of data. accurate, complete, timely statistics and meet international comparison requirements.

Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government-attached agencies and heads of relevant agencies shall, within the scope of their tasks and powers, base themselves on the integrated logistics statistical indicator system. , collect and synthesize assigned indicators, and provide them to the Ministry of Planning and Investment (GSO) for synthesis and compilation.

This Circular takes effect from March 1, 2022.
