On the morning of September 5, Mr. Cao Tuong Huy, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited a number of hi-tech agricultural and fishery production models in Dam Ha district.

The project has a scale of nearly 170 hectares, the total investment is expected to be about VND 829 billion. The project is divided into 3 phases. Up to now, Vietnam - Australia Group has basically completed the items of water treatment plant, laboratory, 24 shrimp hatcheries, food storage warehouse and operated a model of high-tech commercial shrimp farming in greenhouses..., fully meeting the strict requirements of producing high quality seed. Since the beginning of the year until now, despite being heavily affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, the Group has also supplied hundreds of millions of breeding stock to the market.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the efforts of Vietnam - Australia Group in implementing the project, and at the same time, suggested that the Group continue to pay attention to investment, technological innovation, upgrading higher quality shrimp seed supply to the market. Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, departments, functional branches and localities will always accompany, support, facilitate and promptly remove difficulties and problems for the unit.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tuong Huy also visited the marine fish hatchery of the Bac Viet Breeding and Aquaculture Cooperative, in Dam Ha commune. This is the only model in the north of the province that conducts seed production from the first stage of selection and rearing of broodstock. Currently, the cooperative is producing varieties of grouper, snapper, sardines, sea bass... On average, 3-5 million breeders are sold a year, revenue is 8-10 billion VND/year. Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of Bac Viet Cooperative in researching and applying high technology in production, creating quality breeds and supplying to the market. He suggested that the cooperative continue to study to increase its scale and expand the production of new breeds to meet market demand. Dam Ha district needs to pay attention to, create conditions and promptly solve difficulties and problems for businesses to develop more and more.

The model of clean agricultural production, applying technology of Dam Ha Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company, in Quang Tan commune is the largest scale model of growing vegetables and fruits in the greenhouse in the district, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tuong Huy suggested that the Company continue to expand production and plant more clean vegetables and fruits to supply domestic and foreign markets, continue to improve the quality of products, creating more jobs for local workers.

In the context of the Covid-19 epidemic, there are still complicated developments, affecting the consumption of agricultural products, Mr. Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that Dam Ha district needs to be flexible to find solutions to connect supply and demand, support consumption of goods and agricultural products for businesses in the area, ensure stable operation of enterprises, maintain production and contribute to the socio-economic development of the locality.
