Executing the 12th Central Committee on the Strategy for sustainable development of Vietnam's marine economy to 2030 with a vision to 2045.

The resolution clearly states the stance on sustainable development, "without trading off the environment for marine economic development" and emphasizes sustainable development of the marine economy on the basis of green growth, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable development. marine ecosystem.

Promoting marine economic development

The General Department of Seas and Islands, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has identified the implementation of Resolution 36-NQ/TW on the Strategy for sustainable development of Vietnam's marine economy to 2030, with a vision to 2045 as a task. important service to realize the goals of sustainable development and green growth. From the time Resolution 36-NQ/TW was issued until now, the General Department of Seas and Islands of Vietnam has actively coordinated with ministries, branches, localities, organizations, individuals, experts and experts. related science in order to develop and carry out many activities and tasks, especially in the development of relevant legal documents and policies, initially brought about significant results in the implementing Resolution 36-NQ/TW on the strategy of sustainable development of Vietnam's marine economy. The most important document can be mentioned is the Government's issuance of Resolution 26/NQ-CP on the Master Plan and the Government's 5-year plan for the implementation of Resolution 36-NQ/TW.
