Terminate the pilot establishment of the Van Don Economic Zone Management Board

On July 11, 2023, the Government issued Resolution No. 101/NQ-CP to end the pilot establishment of the Van Don Economic Zone Management Board under the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province according to Resolution 102/NQ-CP dated July 14. November 2019 of the Government on "Pilot establishment of Van Don Economic Zone Management Board under the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province".

 The infrastructure of Van Don Economic Zone is increasingly being completed synchronously.

The Government assigned the Provincial People's Committee to be responsible for directing and organizing the implementation of contents related to the termination of the pilot establishment of the Van Don Economic Zone Management Board in accordance with current legal regulations.

Previously, on November 14, 2019, the Government issued Resolution No. 102/NQ-CP on piloting the establishment of the Van Don Economic Zone Management Board under the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province. The Prime Minister also issued Decision No. 544/QD-TTg dated April 21, 2020 regulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Van Don Economic Zone Management Board.

Accordingly, the Van Don Economic Zone Management Board is an agency directly under the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province. The pilot implementation period is 3 years, from April 21, 2020. Van Don Economic Zone Management Board performs direct state management functions for Van Don Economic Zone, Quang Ninh province; Manage and organize the implementation of the function of providing public administrative services and other support services related to investment, production and business activities for investors in Van Don Economic Zone, Quang Ninh province according to regulations. provisions of the law.
