On the morning of November 13, the delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, led by Deputy Minister Phung Duc Tien, worked with the Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of the EC's recommendations on combating fishing. illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing (IUU), animal husbandry situation and prevention and control of animal diseases, organization of vaccination against diseases.

At the meeting, Quang Ninh province reported to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development's Mission on the implementation of EC recommendations on combating IUU fishing and livestock production, animal disease prevention and control, vaccination against diseases in the province. Currently, the growth rate of agriculture, forestry and fishery remains stable, reaching a growth rate of 4.21%, equal to 100% of the growth scenario.
The province is continuing to focus on promoting propaganda to raise the awareness of people and fishermen about the legal documents of the Central and the province on fisheries, livestock, and disease prevention. Investing in capacity for the inspection, examination and supervision system and attract investment resources into the agricultural sector. Continuing to focus on strictly implementing the fight against IUU fishing in the province.
The province also proposed to the delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to consider and soon arrange capital to continue implementing the project of the Gulf of Tonkin Fishery Logistics Service Center project in Co To district. Paying attention to implementing the project of the Asia Pacific Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries Transaction Logistics Center project at Km3+4 Ka Long river, Mong Cai city. Soon issuing a plan to support satellite subscription fees for fishing vessel owners to install cruise monitoring equipment. Continuing to pay attention to the investment, development of seeds, plants and disease prevention.

At the meeting, the delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the provincial departments, branches and localities focused on discussing the contents related to the control of fishing vessels entering and leaving the port, the output of aquatic products at the wharf, accessing baseline data and training staff on using VMS data, issuing fishing licenses, enforcing the law on administrative penalties for small fishing vessels, fishing near the shore; planning livestock breeding areas and converting livestock models, enhancing the capacity of on-site seed production, disease prevention and control.
