The Provincial People's Committee meets to collect opinions on the draft Land Law
On March 11, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to collect opinions on the draft Land Law. Comrade Cao Tuong Huy, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presided, and in attendance were representatives of leaders of departments, branches, localities and a number of businesses in the province.

The draft Land Law (amended) is expected to be reviewed and commented on by the National Assembly at the 5th Session, term XV, taking place in May 2023. This is a particularly important draft Law, receiving great attention from public opinion and the people. In order to be open and transparent, people and organizations directly participate in the draft Law, from January 2023, the National Assembly has organized a consultation, expected to end on March 15.
Accordingly, the draft Land Law will include: 16 chapters, 236 articles, the scope of comprehensive amendments to all fields, contents and policies. Among them, there are 9 key contents that are widely consulted, including: Planning and land use plans; land recovery and compensation, support and resettlement policies; land fund development; land allocation, land lease, land use conversion; land registration, certification and administrative procedures, land data and information; financial mechanisms and policies, land prices; management and use regime of various types of land; decentralization, supervision, and control of power in land management; regulations on household land use management.
At the meeting, the majority of delegates shared the same view that land management is a very complex and sensitive field, affecting the entire society. Amending the Land Law is extremely necessary, meeting urgent requirements in the development process.
