Glad to see firsthand the great achievements that the Lao fraternal people, under the wise leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, have achieved over the years, especially in maintaining political stability, ensuring national security and defense, maintaining economic growth in the context of complicated developments in the international and regional situation and epidemics, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue affirmed that he believes that the Lao people will overcome the pandemic. through all the challenges, successfully implemented the Resolution of the 11th National Party Congress and the 9th Five-Year Socio-Economic Development Plan, successfully implemented measures to open up and restore the economy, stabilize the macro-economy, create jobs, continue to build a peaceful, independent, unified and prosperous Laos according to the socialist goal.

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and Lao General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith highly appreciated the good and solid development of the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam- Laos in recent years, including very important contributions of the National Assembly of the two countries. The two leaders emphasized that in the coming time, the two sides need to highly promote the tradition of close and reliable cooperation; jointly seriously implement high-level agreements; make efforts to strengthen and further improve the effectiveness of bilateral cooperation in all fields, for the practical benefit of the two peoples.

The two sides jointly promote and find solutions to effectively handle problems of important cooperation projects, especially transport infrastructure connection projects; coordinate well in organizing meaningful activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the 45th anniversary of the signing of the Vietnam-Laos Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation in 2022, contributing to promoting propaganda and education among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life, especially the young generation of the two countries, about the history and tradition of special relations between Vietnam and Laos.

General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith wished that the National Assembly of the two countries would continue to coordinate in monitoring to contribute to the effective implementation of bilateral agreements; strengthen sharing of experiences, especially building and perfecting institutions, the legal system and supreme supervision of the activities of State agencies; closely cooperate and support each other at regional and international parliamentary forums such as IPU, AIPA, APPF, APF...; closely coordinate in international and regional issues, for peace, stability, cooperation and development.
