TO ACCOMPLISH THE GOAL OF ESTABLISHING MORE THAN 2,000 NEW BUSINESSES
In 2021, Quang Ninh sets a goal of establishing more than 2,000 new businesses. To concretize this goal, right from the beginning of the year, many specific solutions have been researched, proposed and ready to be implemented by related industries. Officials of the Department of Planning and Investment receive and guide the procedures for establishing new businesses at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center. In 2020, the whole province has 2,080 newly registered enterprises and dependent units (reaching 71.4% of the plan set by the province), total registered capital of 23,701 billion VND; decreased by 12% in the number of businesses, increased by more than 32% in registered capital compared to 2019. Besides, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the whole province had 1,033 businesses that were forced to suspend business for a definite time. , up 24.7%; 529 enterprises dissolved, up 31.9%; However, there were 665 enterprises resuming production and business activities, an increase of 13% compared to 2019, bringing a total of 19,680 enterprises and dependent units in the province, with a total registered capital of VND 205,466 billion. The positive development in difficult conditions of the provincial business community has made an important contribution to helping Quang Ninh successfully complete the "dual goal", both epidemic prevention and effective economic development. In 2020, the GRDP growth rate will reach 10.05%, ranking third in the country. In which, the industry - construction sector increased by more than 13%; the service sector achieved a growth rate of 7.5%; the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector increased by 3.8%; State budget revenue reached 49,500 billion VND (10% higher than the estimate assigned by the Central Government, 3% higher than the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council at the beginning of the year, up 7% compared to 2019), ranking 7th nationwide... In 2021, the province aims to establish over 2,000 new businesses and dependent units.
