Uong Bi Investment and Business Support Group

Uong Bi Business and Investment Support Group (UBIC) was established on August 10, 2021, including 10 members, led by the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee in charge of the economic sector. The team is responsible for grasping, proposing solutions and promptly supporting the difficulties of businesses that have been implementing projects in the area.

Uong Bi is the first locality in the province to establish the group. Previously, the Provincial People's Committee also established and maintained the operation of the Provincial Business and Investment Support Group.

At the same time as Uong Bi UBIC Group was established, Xuan Lam Group Co., Ltd. began to restart its projects in Uong Bi City after a long period of inactivity. In the attitude of being an area where businesses are located, Uong Bi City is determined to be ready to coordinate, support and accompany the company to solve arising difficulties; assigns to UBIC Team to implement.

Recently, Xuan Lam Group Co., Ltd. has restarted some of its projects after a long period of shutdown.

Immediately after receiving the job, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tiep, Vice Chairman of Uong Bi City People's Committee, Team Leader of UBIC, and members of the Team had a working session with Xuan Lam Group Co., Ltd. Thereby, the UBIC Team determined that the number of projects of the Company and each project had shortcomings that required high responsibility to solve it. To achieve the goals, the UBIC Team with the company discussed and identified each project very carefully, pointed out each problem, exchanged solutions, assign responsibility for handling and acceptance of treatment results to each member of the Team.

Mr. Ha Trong Quang, Deputy General Director of Xuan Lam Group Co., Ltd., said: UBIC Team has immediately implemented activities to support the company under its authority; and at the same time guide and accompany the company to solve problems under the jurisdiction of central and provincial units.

The UBIC team has completed the procedures for handing over the landmark 1 project to the company; helping to access land resources for project leveling… The UBIC team will continue to support the company to update the city's land use plan with the areas for compensation to the people but have not yet approved, serving as a basis for continuing site clearance, guiding the company on procedures for proposing the Provincial People's Committee in continuing the implementation of a number of unfinished projects...

Along with supporting Xuan Lam Group Co., Ltd., the UBIC Team initially implemented a number of support activities for the proposals of businesses in the area such as: Expanding production facilities applying high technology in the production of turpentine and coniferous products of Quang Ninh Pine Joint Stock Company; expanding the field of activity from passenger transport to freight transport of Phuc Xuyen Co., Ltd; implementing the packaging factory project of Quang Ninh Cement and Construction Joint Stock Company... These proposals are being promoted by the UBIC Team, thereby creating trust and promoting business development.
