Van Don: Breakthrough in infrastructure investment

In 2021, the whole district focuses on speeding up the construction progress of 115 basic construction works; conducting land clearance of 60 key projects, creating momentum and breakthroughs in synchronous transport infrastructure for Van Don EZ.

 Ao Tien - Van Don high-class port project (Ha Long commune) invested by Mai Quyen Tourism Company Limited, is expected to be completed and put into operation in April 2022.

Among them, prominent projects are the complex of hotels and luxury apartments Ao Tien - Cat Linh Van Don in Ha Long commune. The first 5-star hotel and luxury apartment complex project is licensed to be deployed in Van Don EZ with an area of ​​2.34ha, total investment capital of 3,910.8 billion dong. . The project is expected to come into operation in January 2024.

Along with that is the Ao Tien - Van Don high-class port project (Ha Long commune) - a project to build a port for cruise ships with a maximum capacity of up to 4.2 million passengers/year. Passengers up to 300 seats. Total investment capital to implement the project is 613.3 billion VND; It is expected to be completed and put into operation in April 2022.

 Adjacent houses belonging to the Ao Tien - Cat Linh Van Don luxury hotel and apartment complex project in Ha Long commune (Van Don district) are urgently under construction.

Mr. Ta Duc Quyet, Chairman of Van Don District Business Association, Director of Mai Quyen Tourism Company, said: I appreciate the facilitation of the province, Van Don Economic Zone Management Board, especially Van district. According to Mr. Tran Quoc Hoan, Deputy Director of Van Don District Construction Investment Project Management Board, the district is currently reviewing all dynamic projects in the area; focusing on speeding up the construction progress for 49 transitional projects, handing over and putting into use 29 projects. At the same time, implementing steps and completing procedures, starting new construction in 2022 for 28 projects.

Thanks to the completion and synchronous infrastructure connection, Van Don is "rolling out the red carpet" to attract investment in the area.This year, the district focuses on solving problems for key projects, such as: Traffic routes. through the main axis of Cai Rong urban center (phase 2); upgrading and expanding route 334 from the Ao Tien intersection to the complex park, Van Don economic zone...

At the same time, proactively implement compensation, support and resettlement for projects flexibly but must ensure the correct order of procedures, publicity, transparency and progress as required.
